Urban Design & Infill

The Lannert Group supports and is involved with urban design and infill. Sustainability issues and the reuse of existing building and infrastructure will be the development pattern of the future. Recognizing this trend years ago the Lannert Group located their offices in a historic 1875 building in downtown Geneva, Illinois three blocks from the commuter railroad. This commitment to urban infill is also reflected in our completed projects. Small neighborhood sites like Pearl Street in Dekalb or large scale developments like Homan Square in Chicago showcase the spectrum of the Lannert Group's services. The ability to evaluate the site, understand the product, analyze the market, and improve the infrastructure is the key for successful infill programs.
